Fall for color

I can’t let the beautiful blessings in the season of fall go by with out sharing all that we love about the gift of color. Orange and brown are the two most symbolic colors of fall, in fashion, interiors, and entertaining. After all it is the season of gathering with friends and family in your favorite ole sweater by a cozy warm fire. 

Orange is about joy, happiness and encouragement! This color block tote by Tory Burch is pretty in style and function. And there’s no way this brown tweed couldn’t keep us warm. We love the clean lines of this deep walnut brown cafe’ table with just a touch of hammered brass detail. It’s a special order through our interior design studio.

This fabulous fall chair from Neiman Marcus is the epitome of soft mixed textures layer upon layer of brown. This beautiful color of earth evokes strength, and security. And what’s not to love in colorful delicious gourds and squash. One of mine and Mr C’s fall favorites is the simple recipe of cutting an acorn squash in half, and then scooping out seeds. Next layer in a tiny bit of real butter, a tablespoon plus of maple syrup then grind a lil sea salt on top with fresh tarragon. Bake at 350 for 30-40 min depending on the size. It’s simple and delicious! And I am sure this lovely model knows orange is a color of energy.
