How to Freshen Up Your Home for Spring

It feels like it takes forever for springtime to arrive at least here in North East, Ohio. Though, when it does, it sure puts a spring in our step as we see the daffodils, tulips, and azaleas bloom. I particularly love how the natural light streams through our living room gets brighter each morning. But how do we bring springtime indoors and into our homes to enjoy?

1.ADD BRIGHT COLORS

The first way to freshen up your rooms is with bright wallcovering and fabrics. We love nature’s bright greens and, as always, the blues in sunny skies. Such as Brunschwig and Fil’s “Birds of Paradise” and Pierre Frey’s botanical, treillage pattern. The photo of Pierre Frey’s botanical treillage pattern is a favorite of ours to share with clients!

2. LIGHTING SPRING SCENTED CANDLES

The second way to refresh your home for spring is by lighting candles with scents such as any floral scent. For example, our Lavender and Serenity Geuaga Candles are heavenly. As well as, some new candles we will be adding this spring/summer, inspired by our favorite summer beverages Rose’, Prosecco, and Zinfandel wines.

3. ADD LIGHT THROW BLANKETS

The third way to bring springtime inside is by adding light cotton throw blankets to your rooms and patios. They add a pop of bright color to your home, as well as adding warmth for you and your guests on those cool summer nights.

Our recent favorite springtime purchases have been…

1. This delightful embroidery chambray dress from Wrap London

2. These sweet light blue dessert plates on sale now at Crate & Barrel will be perfect for our door dining with our exclusive ceramic platter will be launching soon.
